Secure the vehicle
Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel of the corner where you will be replacing the brake pads.
Lift the vehicle
Use a jack to lift the vehicle off the ground.Place jack stands under the vehicle to ensure stability.Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel to access the brake components.
Access the brake caliper
Locate the brake caliper, which is typically held in place by bolts.Use a wrench or socket set to remove the bolts and carefully detach the caliper, being cautious not to damage the brake line.
Remove old brake pads

Install new brake pads
Apply a thin layer of brake grease to the back of the new brake pads.Slide the new brake pads into the caliper bracket, ensuring they align correctly with the rotor.Reattach the caliper using the bolts and tighten to the manufacturer’s specifications.
